I just started to play the Irish Tin whistle today, and I have been learning the pipes for a few months. I come from a pretty musical background. I have played many instruments such as Piano, and Trombone. I love learning knew instruments that I can compete with, so one day I hope to compete with the pipes. I'm learning Amazing Grace on the pipes now and I will post a video of me playing once I have it down. Please stay tuned for more info. I just started the blog today, so I will add more as time goes on. I hope to start competing by next year some time. You will see my journey as a piper if you stay tuned.
